The Women’s Council was founded in 2009 to foster collaboration among the many organizations in Central Ohio that offer support, networking, and professional development for women.
Gail A. Froelicher
Gail currently is Managing Partner and Owner of Kinetic Insights, LLC, an Executive Coaching Practice which focuses on individual development through one-on-one curriculum and group workshops and strategic development of publicly and privately owned businesses. Gail is also on the Board and holds the Past-President position for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Columbus chapter. Gail also serves on the Advisory Board for Make-A-Wish Central Ohio.
Melanie Martin-Jones
Melanie is an attorney practicing patent, trademark, and copyright law. Melanie started the Women’s Council of Central Ohio because she wanted to help her female clients enhance their businesses, but did not know which group to suggest to support each client’s particular needs. Working with Gail, she contacted leaders of women’s groups, who now meet to exchange information and stay informed about issues facing women in Central Ohio.
