An advisory program designed to increase the growth and profitability of woman-owned businesses.

Our proven mentoring process links woman-owned businesses with a volunteer panel of advisors recruited from the local community. The panel and business owner work together for one year to meet the specific objectives of the business owner.

ATHENAPowerLink® Recipients learn to network, access capital and implement best practices from their own team of expert advisors that have been recruited specifically for their business and are dedicated to helping them maximize the growth and profitability of their businesses.

Each business owner meets regularly with her advisory panel for strategic planning and she directs the activities of her panel according to her own business needs.  The advisors help her to focus and track progress toward her business objectives.

To be eligible for ATHENAPowerLink®, your business must be at least 51% owned and actively managed by a woman, have at least two years in operation along with a minimum of two full-time employees (including the owner) and have annual revenues of at least $250,000 for retail or manufacturing businesses or at least $100,000 for service businesses. Owners must also have clearly defined company objectives/goals with explicit reasons for seeking ATHENAPowerLink’s assistance in meeting those objectives/goals.
